Popis: | The reported research envisages for preparation of BaMgAl10O17 nanoparticles (BMA NPs) through solution combustion method using eco-friendly Aloe Vera gel extract. This obtained nanoparticle was well characterized by P-XRD, SEM-EDAX, FT-IR, TEM and UV-Visible spectroscopy. Powder X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the spinel phase formation of prepared aluminates with crystallite size was found to be 7 nm. The optical measurement of BMA NPs confirms energy band gap at 2.67 eV using UV-Visible spectral analysis. The photocatalytic activities have been enhanced for degradation of waste water polluted by BMA NPs and showed 95% decomposition of Acid Red 88 dye under UV irradiation. The antimicrobial activity of BMA NPs was analyzed by using bacterial isolates (Rhizoctonia solani and Rhizoctonia spps) and fungal isolates (Exserohilum turcium, and Colletotrichum spps) in freshly prepared NA/PDA media and incubated for 24hrs at 37 °C/72hrs at RT. An excellent redox reaction and paracetamol sensor performance of the prepared sample was found by cyclic voltammetry analysis carried out in 0.1 M KCl with the graphite electrode paste. |
