Popis: | A description is given of the parallel use of a vascular or blood pool radioactive tracer to assess the vascular content of a lesion relative to surrounding the healthy liver by comparing its amplitude or contrast on both reticuloendothelial and vascular scans. The scan discrimination between relatively vascular lesions and avascular processes such as cysts and abscesses is discussed. The radioactive tracers used in the study were /sup 99m/Tc sulphur colloid and /sup 113m/In. (auth) |
