Popis: | A case of tricuspid atresia with surgical intervention has been presented. The infant died after what appeared, clinically, to be an episode of acute hypoxia. At autopsy, the brain showed two very unusual lesions, massive necrosis of white matter and disseminated fungal granulomata. The evidence that the first of these is an anoxic lesion is reviewed. The second is considered to be a terminal event. |
