The paper is devoted to both modeling and elaboration of advanced polaritonic photodetector based on the metal (Au or Ag / semiconductor (GaAs)) surface barrier heterostructures (SBH) with the diffraction grating on the interface. The transmittance / reflectance angular and spectral characteristics of SBH with diffraction grating have been investigated theoretically. The diffraction gratings (bigratings) in GaAs were manufactured by the two holographic methods.
