| Popis: | An inductive transducer for the measurement of intracranial pressure is described. The transducer is part of a radiotelemetry FM transmitter working at 400 kHz and uses a radio receiver developed for recording signals from ingested radio pills. The transducer is attached to a catheter placed in the ventricles and monitors cerebral spinal fluid pressure. Experience gained in recording intracranial pressure in man is described with particular respect to the clinical advantage of radiotelemetry during long term recording. |
