Popis:	Synthetic studies that established the relative configuration of (–)-delactonmycin, a polyketide with inhibitory activity against HIV-1 Rev protein, and our efforts toward the structural elucidation of the alkaloids (+)-plumerinine, isolated from P. rubra, and (–)-parvistemoamide, isolated from S. parviflora, are discussed.
