Popis: | 1. The intensity of leucocyte emigration to the site of artificially induced inflammation using the modifiedRebuck skin window technique was investigated in patients with different types of hemoblastosis who also had peripheral neutropenia or lymphopenia or monocytopenia. 2. It was found that peripheral neutropenia was regularly followed by decreased emigration to the site of inflammation. 3. On the other hand, peripheral lymphopenia and monocytopenia did not affect the emigration of mononuclears to the site of inflammation. 4. From this it is concluded that in the patients investigated, the mononuclears reached the site of inflammation from the tissue mesenchyme and not from the blood. |
