Popis: This paper presents Get[IN]Gravity, a digital media-art project implemented as an interactive video installation and, evolving from the analysis of this work, it intends to discuss the notion of Poetics of Instability, a concept under development that deals with the potentials of body instability in digital dance. The video materials were captured using the purposefully constructed 4GetGravity equipment. This solid metal structure allows the participant to move inside an open rectangular box supported by two parallel metal circles that allow it to rotate. The structure also has a special mount for a smartphone so that the rectangular box occupies the whole screen when recording video. As the structure is physically rotated, the gravity center changes, but the captured images keep the box as their only reference, challenging viewers' perception. The interactive installation invites the audience to decide on the character's displacement inside that, apparently stable, rectangular box, moving inside the five walls, apparently free(d) from the unidirectional expectation of gravity. info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion
