Cathodic current AKS during anodic sweep in linear sweep voltammetry in molten Ca(NO3)2 · 4 H2O

Popis: The different system in molten Ca(NO 3 ) 2 · 4 H 2 O, in which additional reduction peaks occur during the forward and reverse sweep in LSV, and their characteristics are pointed out. Such peaks can be accounted for as due to the convective diffusion consequent to a non-uniform reduction of an adsorbed film. Streaming near the electrode surface has been visually observed. A slow kinetic parameter seems to be operative in the formation and reduction of the absorption film.
