| Popis: | Primary meningococcal meningitis is an infrequent but known disease. However, the infection of a prosthetic joint withNeisseria meningitidisis rare. We hereby describe the second case of an arthroplasty infected withNeisseria meningitidisthat responded favourably to prosthesis retention with surgical debridement, in combination with antibiotics treatment. |
