Popis:	Choroidal malignant melanoma is diagnosed in about 100 Australians annually. It is the most common primary malignant tumour that occurs in the adult eye. The disease is briefly discussed in terms of its epidemiology, histogenesis, histology, diagnosis, management and current research effort. The controversy surrounding the status of enucleation in management is reviewed.
