Popis: | Although the last couple of decades has seen tremendous progress in the ability to do chiral separations, the ability to do larger scale chiral separations has lagged somewhat behind the current analytical chiral separation state of the art. The potential of classical gel electrophoresis for chiral separation of milligram quantities of chiral material is examined. A protocol for the chiral separation of milligram quantities of terbutaline using sulfated cyclodextrin as a chiral additive is demonstrated. The possible advantages of the approach are discussed. |
