Popis: Summary Sudden bursts of jerky movements during sleep, called twitches, aid early developmental brain wiring in mice. Translating these findings to humans, a new study reveals that quiet sleep twitches increase in early infancy and coordinate with sleep spindles to establish functional connectivity.
