Popis: | A β-type MSH has been isolated from the pituitary of the common dogfish ( Scyliorhinus canicula ). It differs from all MSH peptides so far isolated in that glycine replaces glutamic acid in the so-called heptapeptide core. By conventional methods the sequence was deduced to be Asx.Glx.Ile.Asx.Tyr.Lys.Met.Gly.His.Phe.Arg.Trp.Gly.Ala.Pro.Met.Asp.Lys. |
