Popis: | 769 uckle or torus fracture is an injury seen predominantly in pediatric patients. The fracture is an impaction injury of the bone producing buckling without complete disruption of the cortex. Such fractures are commonplace in long bones of the extremities such as the distal radius and ulna. The occurrence of a torus fracture in the spinal vertebral lamina is very unusual. This case report describes a buckle fracture in the lamina of the fourth cervical vertebra sustained by a child during a fall from a recreational vehicle. |
