Popis: Background: Second-generation antipsychotic medications have proven effective for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) but may cause weight gain and other metabolic sequelae. Investigators designed and assessed a 12-month behavioral intervention for overweight/obese patients with SMI called “Lifestyle Balance” (LB), based on the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), which was tested at 4 VA sites.
