Quarkonium production at the Tevatron and the LHC

Popis:	NRQCD predictions for the production rates of Jsol;ψ and ψ(2S) at the LHC (s = 7 TeV) are presented. We consider a data‐driven approach to reduce the theoretical uncertainties. The predicted cross sections differential in transverse momentum offer the opportunity to further test the color‐octet dominance in J/ψ or ψ(2S) hadroproduction.
