Popis:	To evaluate the effect of pantoprazole during 45 days on insulin secretion in drug-naïve patients with type 2 diabetes, a randomized, double blind, placebo control clinical trial was performed in 14 drug-naïve volunteers. Significant increases in late insulin phase and total insulin secretion, and decreases in HbA1c levels were found.
