Popis:	Recently, Hsiung and Kaplow reported the isolation of a herpeslike agent from strain 2, but not from strain 13 or from "Hartley strain," guinea pigs [1]. Since strain 2 guinea pigs are highly susceptible to transmissible acute lymphoblastic leukemia (LoC) [2], it was inferred that there may be a causal relationship between the herpeslike agent and the leukemia.
