Popis: | Melanotic progonoma is a rare tumor that primarily affects the maxilla of infants during the first year of life. Involvement in the skull is rare and can mimick other benign or malignant tumors affecting the infant's skull. The authors report a case of melanotic progonoma of right occipital and temporal bones in a 7-months' girl and discuss the histological features, immunohistochemistry study, differential diagnosis and management of this tumor. |
