Popis: The term anterolateral abdominal wall refers to all of the layered structures covering the abdomen. This wall occupies a hexagonal area limited by the following structures: above, by the angle of the xiphoid process, chondrocostal margin, and cartilage of the two lowermost ribs; laterally, by the midaxillary line; below, by the anterior part of the pelvic skeleton and pubic symphysis.
