Generalized loss of muscle mass and strength is named as sarcopenia. The objective of this study was to evaluate patients with FMS regarding sarcopenia. This was a cross sectional, case-controlled, single-blinded, and single-centered study. The FMS patients were assessed by Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ), visual analog scale (VAS), Beck Depression Index (BDI), and Pittsburg Sleep Quality Scale (PSQI). All the participants were evaluated for sarcopenia by bioimpedance analysis (BIA), anthropometric measurements, handgrip strength, and the parameters of walking speed.
