Synthesis, characterization and crystal density modeling of polycarbocyclic oxiranes

Popis: Polycyclic bis-epoxides 5, 6, and 7 have been synthesized, and their structures established unequivocally via application of single crystal X-ray crystallographic methods. The crystal densities of 2–7 (calculated from X-ray crystallographic data) are compared with the results of theoretical density predictions.
