In the current project, we aim to use measures that capture individual differences in reward sensitivity in line with the positive valence system of the RDOC framework (Insel et al., 2010; https://www.nimh.nih.gov/research/research-funded-by-nimh/rdoc/constructs/positive-valence-systems). The RDOC framework breaks the positive valence system down into multiple constructs. Recently developed measures will allow us to measure individual differences in each of these constructs (Khazanov et al., 2020). In the current study, we examine whether experimentally induced nostalgia will alter state measures of the positive valence system. |
