Popis: | A phase converter driven by a stable phase sequence has been developed and studied experimentally to determine its voltage regulation characteristics. This converter consists of two parts: a three-phase ferroresonant constant voltage stabilizer, and a phase shifter circuit, which serves to generate a pseudo three-phase voltage supply and to fix the phase sequence of the stabilizer. In order to achieve stable operation and satisfactory performance, the stabilizer was improved by the use of a harmonic filter tuned to the 2.5th harmonic, and the phase-shifter circuit is driven by a balanced phase condition of the circuit. New criteria for evaluating voltage regulation are introduced, and the performance of the equipment is discussed on the basis of experimental data, with reference to three reduced circuit parameters--? and s, concerned with the phase shifter circuit, and for the stabilizer. |
