Popis: | Peri-procedural anticoagulant management hinges on the balance of hemorrhagic and thrombotic complications. The radiologist is tasked with accurately assessing the hemorrhagic risk for patients undergoing procedures, taking into account procedural bleeding rates, underlying coagulopathy based on lab tests, and use of anticoagulants. The purpose of this article is to provide a contemporary review of commonly used anticoagulants and, incorporating published evidence, review their management related to image-guided procedures. |
