| Popis: | This study is concerned with models developed during the course of a nationwide, Soviet research project intended to develop long-term forecasts of socioeconomic growth for the USSR and its regions. The models described here, which concern the situation in West Siberia, incorporate population migration, settlement, the location of population and production, transportation, and the educational system. The models are described but not applied to actual data. |
