The role of knowledge management for long-term sustainability in Kuwait companies

Popis:	KM is considered as a strategic component for organisations to gain sustainable competitive advantage in the long run. This research aims to investigate the effects of KM processes on organisational sustainability in Kuwaiti context. In order to test this relationship, a regression analysis was conducted based on data collected from the service sector in Kuwait. Data analysis revealed that there is a direct linear correlation between KM processes and organisations' sustainability. If we look at the comparative analysis of KM processes, knowledge storage appears to be the most significant factor for organisational sustainability followed by knowledge utilisation and sharing. Knowledge generation is also positively correlated with sustainability but it has comparatively less impact.
