Popis: | Multilocular cyst of the kidney is a rare pathologic entity occurring in both children and adults. Although diagnosis cannot be firmly established preoperatively, the use of intravenous pyelography, angiography, ultrasonography, and delta scan may aid in its diagnosis. Because of the difficulty in accurate diagnosis and the documented association with renal neoplasia, we recommend exploration and possible nephrectomy as the treatments of choice. |
