Popis: | 1. 1. Neural retinas from 7-day chick embryos were dissociated by use of trypsin and oxygen uptake of these dissociated cells was determined micropolarographically. 2. 2. Oxygen consumption was measured from preparations of embryo cells obtained from eggs produced at various times during the year. 3. 3. A value of 4·85 ±0·08 μ 1/min per 10 9 cells was obtained. |
