Popis:	The scapular fasciocutaneous island flap was explored as a surgical option to supply autologous skin or volume replacement for breast reconstruction. Its use in two clinical cases illustrates its versatility for the salvage of complications of prior reconstruction. It may serve as a reliable alternative source of well-vascularized autologous tissue if other first-line choices are not available.
