Popis: 1. Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a serious acute disorder, characterized by hemolytic anemia with fragmented RBC, thrombocytopenic purpura, progressive neurologic disturbances, but no significant impairment in renal function. 2. The natural course of TTP is rapidly progressive and, if untreated, will result in the death of the patient shortly after its onset.
