Background: Drug centralization is drug management where all drugs that will be given to patients during hospital treatment are fully managed by nurses. Drug management includes the storage and administration of drugs by observing the six right principles. Purpose: This study aims to analyse the relationship between the application of drug centralization and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room. Methods The design used in this study is correlation analytic with a cross sectional approach, with a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. The data is processed using the chi square test test. The results showed that of the 30 respondents in the Flamboyan Room RSUD dr. T.C. Hillers Maumere whose implementation of category drug centralization was carried out according to SOP as many as 17 respondents (56.7%) and 13 respondents (43.3%). Patient satisfaction data showed that of the 30 respondents in the Flamboyan Room RSUD dr. T.C. Hillers Maumere, with 18 respondents (60.0%) satisfied patient satisfaction, 12 respondents (40.0%). Results : The results of the chi square test obtained p value (0.000) < 0.05 then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the implementation of drug centralization and patient satisfaction in the Flamboyan Room RSUD dr. T.C Hillers Maumere. The calculated Z value is 19,027 > Z table 3,841 then H0 is rejected Ha is accepted. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the implementation of drug centralization and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room . |
