Popis:	Two cases of infraoccluded lower first permanent molars were treated at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School with a joint orthodontic and surgical approach. Coronectomy, a technique usually reserved for deeply impacted lower third molars, was carried out in both cases; these are discussed.
