Popis: | Spinal meningeal cysts are diverticula of the meningeal sac, erve root sheath or arachnoid. Their spinal localization varies, and ight be extradural with orwithout nerve root fibers, or intradural 1]. These cysts can be asymptomatic or cause radiculopathy or yelopathy by exerting pressure near the spinal cord and nerve oots. There is a different form of presentation associated with aised intracranial pressure (ICP) [2]. Herein, we show that raised ressure occurs with Valsalva maneuvers or postural changes. We resent a case of paroxysmal radiculopathywith fasciculations and rises of back pain caused by this pathological pressure. We proose a method to diagnose and treat this rare clinical presentation f spinal meningeal cysts, and suggest its pathophysiology. |
