With long, naked dorsal spine, strongly curved distally backwards; rostral spine long sligthly longer than antenna; lateral spines present and well developed; each latero-ventral margin with one densely plumose anterior seta, followed by two additional sparsely plumose setae; one pair of antero-dorsal setae and one pair of postero-dorsal setae present; eyes sessile. Antennule (Fig. 5 d). Uniramous, smooth and conical; endopod absent; exopod unsegmented with 4 terminal aesthetascs and one minute seta. Antenna (Fig. 5 e). Biramous, protopod very long (spinous process) with one row of spinules of different size; endopod bud approximately 1 / 3 the size of spinous process; one-segmented exopod shorter than the spinous process, with 2 unequal subterminal setae. Mandible. Incisor and molar processes differentiated; mandibular palp (endopod) absent. Maxillule (Fig. 6 a). Coxal endite with seven setae; basial endite with seven setae (three cuspidate); endopod two-segmented, proximal segment with one seta, distal segment with two subterminal and four terminal setae; exopod seta absent. Maxilla (Fig. 6 b). Coxal endite bilobed with 4 + 4 setae; basial endite bilobed with 5 + 4; unsegmented endopod not bilobed, with six terminal setae and microtrichia on lateral margin; exopod (scaphognathite) margin with 9 plumose setae, including distal process. First maxilliped (Fig. 6 c). Coxa with one seta; basis with ten setae arranged 2 + 2 + 3 + 3; endopod five-segmented with 3,2,1,2, 5 (one subterminal and four terminal) setae, respectively; exopod incipiently two-segmented, distal segment with 4 setae. Second maxilliped (Fig. 6 d). Coxa without seta; basis with 3 setae; endopod three-segmented with 0,1, 6 setae, respectively; exopod incipiently two-segmented, distal segment with 4 setae. Third maxilliped. Present as small buds. Pereiopods. Present as small buds. Abdomen (Fig. 5 b). With five somites; somite 2 and 3 with one pair of dorso-lateral processes; somites 3 5 with a pair of short postero-lateral processes; somite 1 without setae, somites 25 with one pair of posterodorsal setae; pleopods absent. Telson (Figs. 5 b,c). Telson fork with one pair of lateral and two pairs of dorsal spines; inner margin with three pairs of serrulate setae.
