| Popis: | The rates of calcium-dependent potassium efflux of red blood cells in 9 Duchenne muscular dystrophic patients were measured. A significant decrease was revealed in the Ca-provoked K transport when compared with the rates observed in healthy controls. Results are discussed on the basis of the theory of generalized membrane defect in progressive muscular dystrophies. |
