QUALITY OF LIFE OF HYDROCELE PATIENTS AFTER TRADITIONAL SURGERIES AND SCLEROTHERAPY

Popis:	The article analyzes quality of life of hydrocele patients after traditional surgeries and sclerotherapy. It is shown that pain intensity in the sclerotherapy group was 1.1 ± 0.10 points and lower than in the open surgery group where it was 2.6 ± 0.20 points. Physical activity in patients after sclerotherapy was 1.2 ± 0.20 points, while after traditional surgery it was 2.8 ± 0.24 points. Furthermore, mean number of inpatient bed-days and time to return to normal life were significantly lower in the sclerotherapy patients compared to patients who underwent open surgery.
