'Le bien-être subjectif des demandeurs d'emploi en situation de handicap : le rôle de l'estime de soi, du lieu de contrôle et de l'acceptation de leur handicap'

Popis: International audience; The present study aimed at investigating the subjective well-being of disabled job seekers and the link with their self-esteem, their locus of control and their attitude towards handicap. The study was conducted on 291 disabled job seekers. The results revealed that a disabled job seeker will have all the more an important well-being that he’ll have a high self-esteem, a positive attitude towards handicap, a high level of internal locus of control and a low level of external locus of control. The multiple regressions highlighted the central role of self-esteem and attitude towards handicap to reveal subjective wellbeing.; L’étude avait pour objectif d’évaluer le bien-être psychologique des demandeurs d’emploi en situation de handicap au regard de l’estime de soi, du lieu de contrôle et de l’attitude envers le handicap. Cette recherche a été conduite auprès de 291 demandeurs d’emploi en situation de handicap. Les résultats révèlent qu’une personne en situation de handicap recherchant un emploi aura d’autant plus tendance à avoir un bien-être subjectif important qu’elle aura une estime de soi élevée, une attitude favorable vis-à-vis du handicap, un lieu de contrôle interne développé et des lieux de contrôle externes faibles. Les régressions multiples permettent de mettre en avant le rôle central de l’estime de soi et de l’attitude face au handicap pour révéler le bien-être subjectif.
