Popis:	Archeological excavations on the Olympic Coast of Washington provide evidence that marine mammals, particularly fur seals, constituted a major source of food for inhabitants of this region for more than 2000 years. A recent change in the migratory pattern of the fur seals is suggested by the high percentage of mature males present in prehistoric populations.
