Popis: | Ketamine has been used in over four hundred and fifty anaesthetic inductions, including minor and major gynaecological procedures and minor paediatric cases. Side-effects were a problem, and a rise in systolic blood-pressure, increased pulse-rate, and emergence excitement, although lessened by certain forms of premedication, could not be wholly avoided at doses of 2 mg. per kg. bodyweight. |
