| Popis: | Delayed-type footpad swelling to nonviable Mycoplasma pulmonis was studied in mice treated with some immunomodulators. Mice pre-treated subcutaneously with nonviable M. pulmonis and carrageenan or dextran sulfate had significantly increased footpad swelling when the mice were injected in the footpad with nonviable M. pulmonis 7 days later. In contrast, pre-treatment with nonviable M. pulmonis and Corynebacterium parvum or diethylstilbestrol did not enhance footpad swelling. |
