| Popis: | This paper gives an engineering review of the phenomenon of cavitation on hydraulic machines: turbines, pumps and ships propellers. The types of cavitation and its consequences are presented by the cabinet study of the results of relevant researches on models and real plants. In the special focus of this paper are the techniques of exploration of cavitation erosion: visual examination, measurements of pressures and vibrations and CFD methods. |
