Popis: | In an effort to examine biological accumulation of pollutants in an African lake ecosystem samples of water, bottom sediment, oligochaetes, benthic insects, three species of fish, and a fish eating bird were analysed for several insecticides, PCB's, and metals. Actual concentrations as well as the expected increase in the food chain are discussed. |
