Popis: | H igh-resolution, high-throughput teleradiology is now PoSsible, thanks to the availability of a wide range of digital communications sen, ices [1]. As hospitals decentralize, often having many satellite sites, efficient communication becomes vital for maintenance of high-quality health care. This is particularly true for patients who need nmltiple diagnostic examinations, interventional procedures, or both. Fortunatel}', recent advances in the field of communications technology may finally offer some solutions to this complex problem [2-4]. The aim of this study was to assess, during a 1-year period, the costeffectiveness of a teleradiology system that facilitates image and document communication in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). |
