Popis: The article introduces readers to the problem of transfiction, meaning ways of organizing conceptual and literary (resp. artistic) discourse, which are based on the contemporary paradigm of thinking about the future. We should comprehend transfiction in the following paradigms: dialectical, as an expression of contradictions be teen different forms of temporality; generic, as ways of creating these temporalities; epistemological, a perspective on studying reality; and aesthetic, as a change in the phenomenal, sensual, and sensory world. All these modalities are ways to expand the transcendental field, thus ways to legitimize knowledge about people. The article mentions two types of transfiction: scientific speculation (Stanisław Lem) and the modernist type that involves the construction of time as an ontological form (Virginia Woolf).
