Popis: | Biochemical estimations in a fatal case of malignant hyperpyrexia showed very high serum-levels of creatine phosphokinase, phosphate, and potassium. These changes, together with pyrexia, could all have resulted from severe muscle damage induced by the anaesthetic agents in a susceptible individual. The high. serum-phosphate level led to a secondary fall in serum-calcium. |
