Popis: | 1. 1. Partially purified protein preparation of the inhibitory modulator of protein kinase activity was obtained from chick liver homogenate following the heat-treatment and trichloroacetic acid precipitation. 2. 2. Activity of the inhibitory modulator in chick liver was increased during developmental period from 10 day old embryo up to 14 day old chick. 3. 3. In addition to an inhibitory effect on the adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate (cyclic-AMP)-dependent protein kinase, the preparation had also a stimulatory effect on the guanosine 3′-5′-monophosphate (cyclic-GMP)-dependent protein kinase. 4. 4. Preparation of the modulator was utilized for an identification of the type of protein kinases in the soluble nuclear protein fraction. |
