Popis: | Because children in rural and underserved communities live a greater distance from regional specialty centers than children living in suburban and urban areas,1 they are faced with an inherent geographic barrier in access to care. Telemedicine provides a solution to this access barrier and has been used to deliver specialty consultations to children living in rural and underserved communities for more than 10 years. |
