| Popis: | Mast cell count of the thyroid and the mesentery in adult male rats varying body weight and of different ages was studied by toluidine blue staining method. Mast cell numbers in the thyroid gland were found to be decreased with age but these changes were reversed in case of mesentery. Results show the possible co-relation between the thyroidal mast cells and thyroidal activity with age. |
